Chicago broadcaster Amy Jacobson was born on 11 February 1969 to her parents, Harvey Jacobson and Louise. The media personality grew up in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
The famous radio host is the youngest of three children born to her mom and dad. She has two elder sisters, including Chrissy Jacobson Lutzow.

In an interview, the Chicago broadcaster’s mom revealed that her father, Harvey, had a temper and gave a hard time to her when she was little.
Louise said her two elder daughters knew how not to rile him up. But Amy wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. Amy’s mom believes that she had a hard time due to this.
“Amy spoke up to him. In turn, he (Harvey) gave his youngest kid a hard time. “He’d put her down so bad: ‘That’s a dumb thing to do.’ ‘Look at how you eat.”
Louise recalled.
Louise also revealed that Amy’s dad always talked down to her when other people were around. When the Chicago’s Morning Answer host’s mom decided to end things with her dad.
However, Louise got the courage to divorce when her aunt supported her. This way, Amy’s parents went their separate ways when she was only 12 years old.
Harvey Jacobson Said He Doesn’t Recall Giving A Hard Time To Amy
When asked about the allegations, Harvey Jacobson said he didn’t remember a-busing his daughter verbally.
In contrast, Mr. Jacobson remarked Amy, as a child, was a very curious girl. He added that he might have been hard on her because she was a nonconformist.
“As a child, Amy was “always very questioning, very curious. I was probably harder on her because she was more of a nonconformist.”
