Journalist Alicia Barrios recently testified in the case that former first lady Fabiola Yañez filed against her ex-husband and former president Alberto Fernández, alleging gender vio*lence.

During one and a half hours of testimony, the correspondent also described her friend as a lady with great intelligence and social sensitivity. A part of her testimony reads;
“We met at the Olivos estate, we worked a whole day,” Barrios told the prosecutor, “After that, none of the work we had prepared progressed. That is a*buse. After she had the baby [in April 2022] this increased, she was no longer seen, no one knew anything about her.”
Although her testimony may have brought Barrios into the spotlight, she is a talented journalist and is still active in the media and journalism field.

The radio show host graduated from the University of Salvador and attended the Instituto Flores-Roberto Arlt School of Journalism.

It also indicates that the Vatican Print Room correspondent is or was a director at the Radio Papa Francisco.
