Former American tennis player Kathy May Fritz’s son, Taylor Fritz, recently lost a final match against Jannik Sinner in the U.S. Open final at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Kathy May Fritz, 68, was born on June 18, 1956, in Beverly Hills, California, United States, to her father, David May II, and her mother, Dee.
David May II is the grandson of the May Department Stores Co. founder and former vice chairman of the Board of Directors overseeing several companies operating 324 department stores in 31 states.
He was named a vice president in 1956, executive vice president and CFO in 1958, vice chairman in 1966, and vice chairman and treasurer in 1969.

However, he took retirement in 1977 but continued his real estate and investment pursuits until his last breath.
Sadly, Kathy’s father passed away in April 1992, Tuesday after his 80th birthday.
When David took his last breath, he had just watched Kathy’s sister, Alysia, compete in a tennis practice at the Bel Air Country Club and was waiting for her in his car.
Kathy’s father was the first grandson of David May, who opened a store under the May name in Denver in 1988.
However, Kathy’s mother, Dee, never came into the spotlight, so only limited information is available about her.
Kathy May Fritz’s Family Have A German Roots
Kathy May Fritz’s great-grandfather, David May, was a German immigrant who failed to hit pay dirt as a teenage miner in Colorado in the early 1880s.
However, her father and mother lived in the United States since childhood. Therefore, Kathy is of American ethnicity.
Kathy grew up with six female siblings: Amanda, Dalynn, Tommee, Alysia, Anita, and Gloria.
