In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Rousey talked about Heyman’s encouragement and guidance in her creative plans. She revealed the wrestling manager focused on things aside from physical abilities.
“He’s one of the few people who encouraged me creatively. He showed me I’m so much more than just what my body can do.

“That’s how so many people see me–as an athlete, as a fighter. It’s all about performing, being on camera, focusing on what I can do physically–but it was different with Paul.”

Mr. Heyman produced Ronda’s segments during the second half of her first year in WWE. “He really worked with me on being able to write my own promos and deliver them,” she added.
“I’d written before, two memoirs, but not creatively–he encouraged me to create outside of myself. Paul was my first mentor as a writer, and he saw that in me,” Ronda went on.
Rousey isn’t the only one who is impressed by Heyman’s mentorship ability. The wrestling manager has also praised her impressive work.
Not only that, but Heyman has even mentioned that if Roman Reigns, the leader of The Bloodline, were to take a break, he would be interested in collaborating with Rousey.
