The Georgia Bureau of Investigation officers said the incident also left nine others hospitalized.
According to a statement released by the Barrow County Sheriff’s police, law enforcement responded to reports of a suspect at 10:23 a.m.
However, the situation unfolded rapidly, with multiple agencies arriving to manage the emergency and begin the investigation.
Gray immediately surrendered, got on the ground, and was taken into custody.
Officials said no motive had been identified, and the law enforcement did not know of any targets at this point.

Apalachee High School’s math teacher, Christina Irimie, 53, was born in Georgia, United States, on August 15, 1971.
