Zahquiel John Thomas Patrick Taipeti was the son of Shannon Taipeti and Mitikiro Woods.
Shannon’s son Zahquiel passed away overnight following an attack on a group in the Hamilton Suburb of Bader.

Police were called around 5:20 pm on Sunday to reports of a violent altercation. Hamilton City Inspector Darrell Harupur said police have launched an investigation.
A 37-year-old man has been caught at the scene and charged with m*rder and a*sault.
However, nobody else is being sought about the case, but the police are conducting further inquiries and a scene examination.
Shannon Taipeti And Mitikiro Woods Had A Son, Zahquiel Taipeti, Who Lost His Life In A Recent Hamilton Incident
Zahquiel Taipeti was an 8-year-old boy born in 2016 to his father, Mitikiro Woods, and his mother, Shannon Taipeti. Sadly, his mother, Shannon, passed away more than a year ago.
According to Zahquiel’s Facebook handle, he was initially from Whakatane, New Zealand, but lived in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Moreover, Taipeti mentioned himself as the Wrecker at Mummy’s Boy. He had one sister named Shanz Ocheana Taipeti, with whom he grew up.
On July 18, 2016, Shanz posted a photo along with Zahquiel with a caption,

However, he is in stable condition in hospital and is scheduled for surgery on Monday, September 2, 2024.
